From what you are saying I think you should just follow what your body needs. Like you said it is like a pregnancy craving and I know from when my wife was pregnant she would eat strange foods at odd times and it is obviously your body needed some supplement. You must need high levels of sugar for the few days before your period. I suggest that you don't feel guilty about it or worry about it. If you try to not eat the chocolate you will only feel awful in yourself, so go with it, but then for the rest of the month you can stick to the diet and will be fine. I'm probably not the best person to comment, but maybe some of the female readers can help you here. From my experience with my wife her weight increases by a few pounds at her time of the month and she does get more of a sweet tooth. I guess that if you can control how much chocolate that you eat, ie. stick to when you are hungry then it is not too bad. Paul McKenna does say that you must eat what you want and no food is forbidden. There is a bigger problem if you have a proper meal and then eat lots of chocolate when you are actually full. Have you tried the tapping technique when you want the chocolate to see if it takes the craving away, or the spinning technique? How many days would you say that you need chocolate? Hi Ceri

I wonder if it helps doing two different diets at the same time. Do you then get the best of both worlds? I would be interested in any one telling me how to lose weight and keep it off. I am doing Pauls diet and losing a few pounds every week--but aren't we all so impatient?? Good to hear from Victoria. I wonder if it helps doing two different diets at the same time. I am 17 stone and very unhappy . I have an under active thyroid and blame that, always blameing something else, but how i felt when i suddenly thought about dying at this size and never being thin and feeling attractive, made me sit and cry. It is an awful thought and made me determined that this would work , i'm not going to die fat this is hard hitting stuff you know. I am 17 stone and very unhappy .
