I suppose I have forgotton one of the Golden Rules and probably the most important, that Paul McKenna says that you can eat whatever you want, aslong as you eat consciously. Obviously you're eating what you want so that's the first one in the bag. Then just eat it slowly and conciously and stop when you're full. Glad to talk again---I have been very good and as you suggested I decided to combine Atkins and Paul McKenna and it has worked. I have now lost 18lbs!!!and am going to continue so I can put on a bikini and not feel too embarrassed! As you say McDonalds have a lot to answer for--just stay away completely and don't make the kids the excuse!! Imagine after your McDonald for the rest of the day you could have another milk shake and some fries to take you to approx 2500 calories---nightmare!
